After having difficulties with particular biblical passages about women, the author created Feminism and Biblical Hermeneutics to provide an egalitarian analysis of the Bible to prove that egalitarianism is just as biblically plausible as biblical teachings that support gender roles and to clarify verses that may appear to devalue women. Topics that are covered in this book include the creation of Eve/her role as a "helper," rape and polygamy, careers, church, mutual submission, etc.
